Club Championship season is around the corner

We are organizing teams for U12, U14, U16 and U18 Girls Divisions. This an opportunity that is in addition to regular season in the Victoria Junior League and the costs are also additional. This is a fun opportunity to compete in a tournament against other junior league teams in BC.

Full details of tournament dates and schedules are listed here: http://victoriajuniorfieldhockey.ca/clubs/393/pages/142476

In order to start the process, we need to know who is interested. Before you register online please carefully consider the commitments required:
- player assessment dates (reach out if there is a conflict for U18 and U12 as its coming up)
- team practices
- financial and time commitment to the tournament with travel and accommodation

Depending on who and how many express interest, we may form multiple teams for Tier 2 or we may create a more competitive team and a more recreational team and put a team in either Tier. There will be no friend requests for this process.

Online Registration: http://victoriajuniorfieldhockey.ca/forms/25556-2024-Girls-Club-Championship-Registration

FHBC is excited to be partnering with PISE to deliver two Fundamental Movement Skills courses in Victoria ahead of the Spring Season. NCCP Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) provides a comprehensive introduction to the Fundamental Movement Skills and the core-competencies of the NCCP, with the help of significant hands-on activities. It is also a required course in the Community Coach Context. Community Coach Trained status will soon be a requirement for all recreational club coaches across the Province. We strongly recommend that coaches take advantage of this opportunity!

*This course is mandatory for ALL 2024 Junior League coaches. We would love every certified this year if possible but we will also run it next year, too. *

Coaches will have the choice of attending one of two dates:

Option 1 – Sunday February 25, 9am – 1:30pm at PISE
Register by February 18

Option 2 – Sunday March 3, 9am – 1:30pm at PISE
Register by February 25

This course is FREE for FHBC Registered Participants or $73.50 for all other coaches. VJFHA coaches who are full time coaches in the 2024 season will receive a reimbursement for their fee.
